TopChair climbs indoors and outdoors staircases using a dual
locomotion system :

4 wheels on flat surfaces,
. 2 rubber tracks for strair-climbing.
When on staircase mode :
. the embedded system controls permanently the seat and the châssis tilt,
. the user seat is automatically maintained horizontal,
. infrared sensors detect the presence of stairs. The rear wheels are consequently moved up or down when
needed,
. TopChair can climb up 300 stairs and climb down more than 1000
stairs,
. It can climbs up to 60%,
. it can climbs curbs and stairs up to 20 cm (8").
When on road mode, TopChair is especially versatile and easy to drive. Using a PG Drives controls system, it can be easily adapted to the user needs.
You can switch from road mode to staircase mode just by pressing a button.
